Woman's Purse Snatched Near Dunwoody Bus Stop

The woman had her handbag taken by passing motorist after giving directions.

A woman had her purse stolen near a MARTA bus stop Tuesday in Dunwoody by people in a passing car who stopped to ask for directions, according to Dunwoody Police.

The woman was walking in front of the bus stop near the 2100 block of Womack Road when the vehicle pulled up and the people in the car asked her for directions.

One of the men in the dark-colored vehicle snatched the purse off her arm and and then sped away, witnesses told police. The suspects were described to police as two black males.
