Witness Helps Foil Dunwoody Burglary

Two men are suspected of forcing their way into an apartment on Dunwoody Crossing but were caught by police after witness called 911 and helped out police.

A heads-up 911 call from a neighbor Sunday foiled a brazen burglary at an apartment on the 2400 block of Dunwoody Crossing and led to the arrest of two men, according to Dunwoody Police.

The alert neighbor called 911 after witnessing the two suspects kick in the front door of an apartment. The neighbor was able to give police useful on-the-scene information, according to the report.

Officers arrived at the would-be burglary scene and the two suspects tried to flee; one on foot and one in a vehicle, say police.
