Suspect Tried to Lure Teen at Perimeter Mall

Suspect showed cash to teen in restroom to try and entice teen, police say.

Dunwoody Police are looking for a suspect who tried to entice a teen in the restroom at Perimeter Mall on Nov. 12, according to police.

The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. A 15-year-old male was in the restroom when he was approached by another man in the restroom, police say.

The man showed a "wad of cash" to the victim, and asked him for sexual favors, according to police. The boy fled the scene and and reported the incident to security at the mall.

The suspect was last seen running from the mall. The suspect is described as black, 6-feet-tall and bald. He was described as being in his late 30s to early 40s.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a puffy jacket and black dress pants.

The CrimeStoppers poster about the incident says the suspect was spotted by the teen in the restroom pretending to wash his hands.

The suspect then asked the boy whether he "wanted to make some extra money" and motioned to his mouth, indicating he wanted oral sex.
