Update: Sneiderman Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison

“One of my greatest regrets will always be allowing this predator into my life,” said Sneiderman, of Hemy Neuman, who was convicted of murdering her husband, in November 2010.

In her testimony, the Dunwoody widow described how her relationship with Hemy Neuman evolved.  


"There was no kissing, no sex," she said. 

Sneiderman said in the beginning that she thought Neuman, her boss at GE Energy was simply taking an interest in her as new employee and she wanted to do well. 

"In hindsight, I should have told Rusty about his advances. I should've quit my job," said, Sneiderman, crying throughout her statement.  

On Monday, Andrea Sneiderman was found guilty on nine of 13 counts including hindering apprehension of a criminal, making false statements and concealing a romantic relationship with Neuman.

District Attorney Robert James told the judge that Sneiderman has yet to take responsibility for her actions. "I understand that Hemy Neuman killed her husband...but she has yet to take responsibility for what she's done," James said. 

Sneidermans charges related to the murder investigation of Rusty Sneiderman who was killed at a Dunwoody daycare center. 

Prosecutors had alleged that Sneiderman was dishonest with investigators, intentionally steering them away from Neuman, concealing evidence that could have led to his capture sooner.
