Shoplifting, Entering Auto Among Weekend Crime Incidents

Weekend crime incidents reported on the Dunwoody Police Department Facebook page.
• The AT&T store on Perimeter Center West reported that two black males entered the store and stole two smart phones. One of their sales associates realized the phones were missing shortly after they were taken.
• Two 16-year-old females were arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s. One got away when loss prevention went to stop and detain them but when her guardian got wind of what the "sticky finger" duo were up to, he brought her right back to Macy’s to face the consequences.
• Three adult males were arrested for driving unlicensed during unrelated and separate traffic stops. Reasons for those stops range from no seatbelt, no working brake lights and failing to maintain lane.
• Two wanted people were located and arrested during traffic stops. These warrants were for, felony probation violation for drug sales and failure to appear on traffic charges.
The night shift
• There was a reported entering auto at Brook Run (near the playground and skate park. An unknown suspect(s) shattered the window in order to gain entry.
• Two traffic related arrests: One for suspended license and suspended registration. The second for no license and equipment violation.
• Two DUI arrest: One drug related and the other alcohol
