Rash of Vehicle Break-Ins in Dunwoody Leads Police to Step Up Overnight Patrols

Police say they are increasing their patrols in the Kingsley neighborhood and Dunwoody Club Drive.

Dunwoody Police officers are stepping up overnight patrols after a rash of thefts from vehicles.

Police say they will be patroling Dunwoody Club Drive and the Kingsley neighborhood in response.

Police records show reports of five car break-ins across the city in the last week.

The thefts range from car break-ins for a DVD player to passports, checks, debit cards, wallets, sunglasses and briefcases.

The addresses for the break-ins are 4800 Coldstream Dr., 5300 block of Chamblee Dunwoody Road, a second on the 4800 block of Coldstream Dr. 6900 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, 1000 block of Crown Pointe Parkway.
