Police: Robber Can't Shut Down Security Camera, Leaves Crying
DeKalb County Police say surveillance video shows a man with a gun robbing a clerk at the Days Inn on Northlake Parkway in Tucker.
A robber stymied by a clerk who couldn’t gain access to a hotel security camera was so frustrated that he left the scene of the crime in tears.
DeKalb County Police say surveillance video shows a man with a gun robbing a woman working alone as a clerk at the Days Inn on Northlake Parkway in Tucker.
"(He) went into the office, grabbed her gun drawn and took her straight over to the cash drawer," Detective P.A. Wright told WSB TV.

The man can be seen taking cash from the register. Wright says the suspect then told the clerk he would shoot if she didn't give him keys to the safe and access to the security camera, but the clerk said she didn't know how to do so.
"At that point he was so frustrated, he left crying," Wright told the TV station, likely realizing his face was captured on video.

The clerk told investigators the man left in tears. On the security video he can be seen wiping his face with his hands as he left the motel.
Witnesses told police the man was driving a black Oldsmobile Bravada.
