Police Respond To Theft Calls

Police have been responding to theft calls steadily as the shopping season has picked up.

The shopping season has picked up, and Dunwoody Police are reporting that shoplifting and thefts around Dunwoody have too.

Police responded Monday to two incidents where thieves had stolen more than $1,100 in merchandise from two places.

The first was the T-Mobile store on the 100 block of Hammond Road. An employee there reported a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone was stolen at an estimated value of $250.

The other occurred at Crowne Plaza Ravinia. A person reported a Samsung Tablet and an Apple iPhone had been stolen with an estimated value of $1000.
