Police Raise More than $1,200 with Cuffed for a Cause

Money headed to Special Olympics Georgia

The handcuffs helped.

The Dunwoody Police Department raised $1,256.40 with its Cuffed for a Cause fundraiser last Saturday outside of Wal-Mart.

Officers handcuffed themselves to the railing of a treadmill, and ran and walked to raise money.

The money raised will go to Special Olympics Georgia, which helps children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities in developing physicial fitness.
