Police Looking for Suspicious Man in Van

Dunwoody Police are searching for a man driving a van who followed a girl in the area of Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Wynterhall Road.

Dunwoody Police are asking the public to help them find a suspicious man who followed a girl Thursday in a van.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Wynterhall Road about 4:20 p.m. about a suspicious vehicle. The victim, who is a juvenile female, said she was walking home when a van began to drive slowly alongside her.

She told police the driver made an inappropriate comment which she ignored. The girl then ran from the van to a neighbor's house, and the vehicle left the area. The suspect did not get out of the van or make physical contact with the girl.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s with a short afro, about 1 inch in length, wearing a green shirt. The suspect vehicle is described as a tan minivan, possible a mid-90s Ford Windstar.
