More Air Conditioner Thefts

• Two $2,000 Aire Flow air conditioners were reported stolen from the from a business at 1845 Peeler Rd., on the morning of June 27.

• A $2,000 Amana air conditioner was reported stolen from a business at 1847 Peeler Rd. on the morning of June 27.

• Two Lennox air conditioning units worth $2,000 each were reported stolen from a business at 1842 Independence Sq. on the morning of June 27.

• An air conditioning unit worth $2,400 was reported stolen from a business at 1858 Independence Sq. around noon on June 27.

• An air conditioner worth $1,200 was reported stolen on the afternoon of June 27 from a business at 1858 Independence Sq.

• A $1,200 air conditioning unit was reported stolen from a business at 1858 Independence Sq. in the early afternoon hours of June 27.

• Two air conditioners worth $2,400 each were reported stolen from a business at 1848 Independence Sq. on the morning of June 27.

• An Amana air conditioner valued at $3,499 was reported stolen from a business at 1847 Peeler Rd. on the afternoon of June 28.

 

Burglary

• An attempted burglary was reported on the afternoon of June 26 on the 2400 block of Dunwoody Crossing.

• An HP laptop and an LG flat screen TV were reported stolen from a residence on the 5000 block of Chesnut Forest Court on the afternoon of June 27. The items, in total, were valued at $3,000.

• Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on the 2400 block of Glenbonnie Drive on the evening of June 27.

• A burglary was reported at a residence on the 4300 block of Huntington Circle on the evening of June 28. Nothing was reported stolen in the initial police report. A Playstation 3, 15 games, a Toshiba flat screen TV, $300 in groceries, 100 $2 bills, savings bonds, linens and a pair of sunglass were reported stolen. In total, the stolen items were valued at $3,320.

• A burglary was reported at a residence on the 2400 block of Dunwoody Crossing in the early morning hours of last Wednesday.

• An LG television, a Nintendo Wii and $200 in alcohol were reported stolen from a residence on the 4400 block of Tilly Mill Road Friday night. In total, the items were valued at $1.475.

 

Car theft

• A black and white 1973 Chevy Nova was reported stolen on the morning of June 26 from the 100 block of Perimeter Center East.

• A white 1998 Ford Econoline van was reported stolen on the afternoon of June 27 from the 4900 block of Winters Chapel Road.

• A green 1982 Chevy pick-up truck was reported stolen on the morning of June 28 from the 2300 block of Dunwoody Crossing.

 

Forgery

• A 38-year-old Decatur man was arrested on the afternoon of June 27 for allegedly attempting to pass a forged check at Wells Fargo, 4570 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. 

 

Theft

• A wallet was reported stolen in a bathroom at Perimeter Mall around 5 p.m. on June 26. Among the items in the wallet were $220 in cash, identification cards and a Blackberry phone worth $199.

• A 63-year-old Atlanta man, a 50-year-old Dunwoody woman and a 27-year-old Covington man were arrested in the early morning hours of June 28 at 4500 N. Shallowford Road attempting to steal scrap metal from the demolition site for Dunwoody Medical Center. The three were arrested on charges of larceny and loitering.

• A Carrera bicycle worth $4,500 was reported stolen from a parking lot on the 200 block of Perimeter Center Parkway on the afternoon of June 27. A saw or cutting tool was used in the theft.

• Three pizzas were reported stolen from Domino’s Pizza while on delivery to a home on the 4400 block of Tilly Mill Road in the early morning hours of June 28. The pizzas were valued at $20.49.

• An iPhone 4 was reported stolen from a bar at 4525 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. in the early hours of June 28. The phone was valued at $500.

• An Apple iPhone 3, a cell phone case, two Lexus car keys, a money clip and $95 cash were reported stolen from the locker room at the MJCCA, 5342 Tilly Mill Rd last Wednesday afternoon. In total, the items were valued at $1,125.

• A purse, $540 in cash, $266 in checks and identification cards and credit cards were reported stolen from a residence on the 2500 block of E. Madison Drive last Thursday night.

• An iPhone 4 valued at $500 was reported stolen from a victim at a Wal-Mart, 4725 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Saturday afternoon.

 

Drug possession

• A 21-year-old Dunwoody man was pulled over for improper registration on the 4400 block of North Shallowford Road, and was then arrested for felony drug possession. Police found K2, synthetic marijuana, in the driver’s vehicle.

 

Assault

• An aggravated assault and theft of services was reported at Fire of Brazil, 118 Perimeter Center West, Saturday afternoon. A customer assaulted someone and did not pay for $55 in goods. 

 

Car Break-in

• A vehicle was reported broken into on the afternoon of June 26 on the 5200 block of Drexel Way. Clothing a duffle bag and an HP laptop worth $1,500 were reported stolen.

• A purse valued at $80 was reported from a vehicle parked on the 1400 block of Mount Vernon Road last Wednesday afternoon.

• A Garmin GPS, a Kenneth Cole wallet and several credit and ID cards were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 2100 block of Peachford Road Friday afternoon. In total, the items were valued at $225.

• A Naxa DVD player was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 6700 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard Friday afternoon. The DVD player was valued at $350.

 

Shoplifting

• A 17-year-old Atlanta male was arrested around noon on June 27 for allegedly trying to steal $134.50 worth of shorts, shirts and hats from Bloomingdale’s at Perimeter Mall.

• An 18-year-old Atlanta woman and a 17-year-old Sandy Springs female were arrested on the night of June 27 for attempting to steal $216.41 worth of clothing from Macy’s at Perimeter Mall. The 18-year-old was taken to DeKalb County Jail. The juvenile was released to her parents.

• A 17-year-old Atlanta female was arrested in the early morning hours of June 28 for trying to steal a pair of Romper shorts and Levi’s jeans from Macy’s at Perimeter Mall.

• A 53-year-old Canton man was arrested Friday night at Target for allegedly attempting to steal $14.97 in cash from the store.

• A juvenile was arrested and released to his parents after he allegedly tried to steal a six-pack of socks from Macy’s at Perimeter Mall on Saturday night.
