Dunwoody Police have arrested Roman Melnik, 23, for an alleged sexual assault and battery on Barclay Drive, near N. Peachtree Road, on Aug. 25.
Melnik has been charged with Kidnapping, Sexual Battery and Simple Battery, according to police. The victim told police that she was attacked from behind while walking, last Sunday afternoon.
Melnik is currently in Fulton County Jail on unrelated charges. Jail records show those charges as Sexual Battery and Criminal Trespass with an offense date of Aug. 21.
