Robberies

  • Just before midnight on July 14, two men robbed the BP station at Dunwoody Place and Roswell Road. One is a black male, short, skinny with a short haircut. He wore a black bandana. The second suspect was tall, slender, a black male with short dreads. One of the suspects had a gun.
  • On July 16, a pizza-delivery driver said that just before 11 p.m. he was in the 550 Abernathy Road complex when he was robbed by three black males. They took a small amount of cash and the pizza. The three looked young, about 18-years-old. One wore a red shirt and white shorts. The gun was a silver semi-automatic.

Burglaries

  • On July 13, someone broke into the storage shed at the Rivercliff Lutheran Church on Roswell Road and stole landscaping equipment.
  • On July 11, someone forced entry into an unoccupied home on Woodcliff Drive that was under construction.
  • On July 10, a hair salon on Cliftwood Drive was broken into via smash and grab. A laptop is missing. Two more businesses in this office building were also entered.
  • A Hammond Drive resident returned home to his apartment and found his door unlocked. He later found that someone had stolen an I-pad from the residence.
  • Someone forced entry to a Roswell Road apartment and stole the victim’s television while she was at work.
  • Someone forced entry to the victim’s apartment on Northwood Drive and took a TV.
