Murder, Assault Charges Dropped Against Andrea Sneiderman
The world of social media was ablaze on Friday about the large diamond ring Sneiderman wore during the pre-trial hearing.
The three most serious charges against Andrea Sneiderman were formally withdrawn during a Friday afternoon pre-trial hearing.
DeKalb DA Robert James asked the court to drop the malice murder and aggravated assault charges against Sneiderman. At about 5:30 pm, Judge Gregory Adams agreed to allow the charges to be dropped.
Sneiderman will still go on trial beginning Monday, facing four counts of perjury, seven counts of making false statements and one count each of hindering the apprehension of a criminal.

Each charge carries maximum sentences ranging from five to 10 years in prison, according to the AJC.
Sneiderman was facing murder charges in connection with the shooting death of her husband. Her former boss, Hemy Neuman, was found guilty, but insane, of shooting Rusty Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody daycare in 2010, a story that was reported first on Dunwoody Patch.
