Man Killed in Shooting at Peachtree Place Apartments

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting of a 28-year-old man early Friday morning.

Dunwoody Police are investigating a homicide and looking for a suspect after a man was found shot Friday morning at Peachtree Place apartments.

The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Friday, police say. The victim Roberto Calderon-Guzman, a 30-year-old from Bainbridge who was shot inside an apartment.

The man was taken to Northside Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name is being witheld by police pending the notification of his family.

Two other individuals were named were present at the time of the shooting, including a 27-year-old man, also from Bainbridge, and the 31-year-old Dunwoody man who lived at the apartment.

The apartment complex is located on the 4600 block of Peachtree Place Parkway, near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Winters Chapel Road.

Police are looking for a short, heavy-set black male in connection with the shooting.

He was described by witnesses as clean shaven with short hair. He was last seen waering a a black T-shirt and shorts, according to police.
