Man Arrested For Heroin Posession

Man showed up at the Dunwoody Police Department with heroin ... he didn't go home.

A man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly brought heroin with him to Dunwoody Police headquarters.

According to police, a Dunwoody police officer arrived to work at the police department and noticed a man sitting in his car who had been there for awhile.

The man told the officer that he came to the police department to ask about his girlfriend, who had been arrested earlier in the day. The officer began to suspect that the man was under the influence based on the way he was acting.

The man then attempted to get rid of the narcotics he brought with him, according to police. He was arrested for possession of heroin and giving a false name to police.
