Fire Safety Classes This Week in Dunwoody

City, county putting on two clinics this week on fire safety

Monday and Wednesday, the City of Dunwoody and DeKalb County Fire Rescue's Public Education unit will be hosting a Fire Safety 101 class.

The goal of the class is to increase prevention of fires, tell residents how to react to fires and general safety awareness.

Courses will include sessions on home, office and business fire safety tips; keeping hallways clear; identifying fire extinguisher locations; and mitigating and preventing cooking and electrical fires.

Classes will be held at Dunwoody City Hall.

The course schedule is as follows:

Monday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Monday: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wednesday: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
