Female Citizen Chases/Captures Alleged Drunk Driver on Foot
According to Dunwoody Police, the woman chased the suspect after he allegedly fled a hit and run scene.
A motorist was arrested in a hit and run incident, Saturday, in Whitney Landing with the help of woman who had the suspect pinned down, according to the Dunwoody Police Facebook page.
Officers were assisting Gwinnett Police on a call of a hit and run, and possible intoxicated driver, the FB post said. They learned a female witness chased the driver when he fled the hit and run scene and pinned him down in the Whitney Landing cul-de-sac until police arrived.
Police said the suspect was also arrested three months ago for a hit and run and DUI.
