Updated: Report Says Neuman May have Been Suspicious Man Outside Sneiderman Home

AJC Reporting that police document says Sneiderman saw man with gun near gas line

The suspicious man that appeared outside of Russell 'Rusty' Sneiderman's home more than a week before Sneiderman was shot to death may have been Hemy Neuman.

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Neuman was the man who Sneiderman saw outside of his Dunwoody home, though Sneiderman wasn't able to identify him.

In a recording of the call, from the DeKalb County 911 Center, Sneiderman is worried about a man outside of his home who is crawling around and appears to have a gun tucked into the back of his pants.

Sneiderman, who is driving in his neighborhood with his 2-year-old son, seems worried about the man, who he describes as Hispanic looking with a black mustache, a hat and earmuffs.

The man ran away from Sneiderman's home at 4849 Manget Court.Β

The call seems to indicate Sneiderman had a recent problem in the area.

"I want to make a report, cause we had a problem...," he said, before being interupted by the call taker.Β 

He said the man was lurking around his home on the ground.

"It looked like he was drunk and passed out," Sneidermnan said.

He didnt' see a gun, but saw the man running away holding something on the back of his pants.

Sneiderman had called police to make a suspicious person report at 8:30 a.m. Sneiderman called to say there was a suspicious person in his neighborhood.

At the time, police thought it was a random suspicious person call.
