Dunwoody Rotary Makes Donation to First Responders

The donation came from last October's RunDunwoody.


The Rotary Club of Dunwoody has provided $4,500 to the city's police department for its community policing initiatives.

The Crier is reporting that the donation came from proceeds raised last October from the RunDunwoody-Rotary Race to Serve.

The club also provided $4,140 to DeKalb Fire and Rescue for the purchase of three rescue saws, one for each Dunwoody station.

The club also made a $500 donation to the Noble Heroes Foundation to help first responders and their families in the event of a death or severe injury in the line of duty.
