Dunwoody Prep Shooting: Pre-Trial Motion Hearings Start Next Week

Hearings will allow prosecution and defense to negotiate over evidence in the case to be used in the trial

Pre-trial hearings in the case against Hemy Neuman, the man accused of gunning down a Dunwoody father outside of a preschool in November, have been set for Tuesday, Aug. 9 and Monday, Aug. 15.

The hearings are intended to allow the defense and prosecution to negotiate before trial on matters of admissible statements, the arrest of the suspect and the evidence that would be used in the trial.

Neuman is accused of shooting and killing Russell "Rusty" Sneiderman outside of the Dunwoody Prep preschool on the morning of Nov. 18, just seconds after Sneiderman dropped his 2-year-old son off at the school.
