Court documents show that the man accused of gunning down a Dunwoody father outside of a daycare last November had been in contact with the victim’s wife, both before and after the shooting.

According to a search warrant affadavit filed in DeKalb County Superior Court, Hemy Neuman, the man accused of shooting Russell 'Rusty' Sneiderman outside of Dunwoody Prep day care on Nov. 18, and Andrea Sneiderman, Rusty's wife, were in contact.

Neuman has been charged with murder and is being held in DeKalb County Jail without bond.

According to the court documents, police were searching for “any digital evidence of communication between the defendant, Andrea Sneiderman and any accomplices or witnesses, known or unknown to law enforcement, that would indicate planning, collaboration, or premeditation to commit murder.”

Police are looking at both Neuman and Andrea Sneiderman’s email addresses between the dates of Nov. 8 and Nov. 22. They are looking at another one of Neuman’s email accounts between Sept. 1 and Jan. 15.

The mobile phone records are being looked at between Sept. 1 and Jan. 15.

The probable cause for the warrants also includes new information on the shooting.

The documents say Neuman rented a silver Kia Sedona – a van similar to the van that was used as the killer’s getaway car. Documents say Neuman rented it on Nov. 17 and returned it on Nov. 18. The van, which was later searched by police, had synthetic hairs in it, which the police associated with the fake beard witnesses described the killer wearing.

On the day of the murder, the documents say Neuman had come into work early and left the office before the murder.

He returned to the office shortly after the murder took place, the documents say.

When police arrested Neuman in January, they seized his iPad and iPhone devices, both of which included Andrea Sneiderman’s personal email address.

Neuman’s arraignment has been set for April 4.

The DeKalb County Attorney’s office has filed notice with the DeKalb County Superior Court that it intends to seek life without parole for Neuman.
