Dunwoody Police: Suspect Threw Murder Victim From Balcony

Dunwoody Police have identified Isaac C. Herrington, 31, as the victim in a Wednesday morning murder at a Dunwoody apartment complex.

Officers found Herrington dead, just before 7 a.m., Wednesday, and later arrested Barrett Wade Ricks, 24, of Atlanta. 

Ricks allegedly assaulted Herrington and threw him from a fifth floor balcony at Axis at Perimeter apartments, according to Dunwoody Police. A motive is unclear, a police statement said. Ricks and Herrington were described to police as casual acquaintances.
