Dunwoody Police run for Special Olympics

The annual run with Sandy Springs and Dunwoody police is for the Georgia Special Olympics.

Dunwoody Police partners with their colleagues from Sandy Springs on Thursday for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Georgia Special Olympics.Β 

The run, which is approximately four miles, starts at 10 a.m. in Sandy Springs at Johnson Ferry Road and Sandy Springs Circle, the site of the old Target building.

The run continues along Mount Vernon Highway east, crossing Roswell Road and moving into Dunwoody.

The run concludes at the Publix Store, 5550 Chamblee Dunwoody Road just north of Mount Vernon Highway.

The runners will stage will take place at the old Target at 9:30 a.m.
