Dunwoody Police promote victims' rights

Program notifies crime victims

The Dunwoody Police Department promotes a service that allows victims of crime to receive notification about an offender's custody status, by telephone or e-mail.
It's called the VINE program and it's an acronym for Victim Information and Notification Everyday.
Dunwoody Police are promoting the program as part of this week's National Crime Victims' Rights Week, which promote victims' rights and honors crime victims.
