Dunwoody Police Looking for Car Thieves

Man had his truck stolen near where three suspects were said to have been making criminal mischief.

Dunwoody Police are warning residents and business owners over trouble Friday after officers were called to in Dunwoody Village.

Three suspects were reported to be going door-to-door in the Shoppes of Dunwoody and Dunwoody Village, police say.

As the officer arrived at Dunwoody Village for that complaint, a report came in that a truck had been stolen nearby. And then - a truck had been abandoned on North Shallowford Road and Cotillion Dr.

The victim of the automobile theft said that three suspects had stole his keys while he was distracted. It is not clear where the man was when he had his keys stolen.

Police later learned that a witness reported three suspects were reported to have been running from the abandoned truck toward Savoy Drive and Chamblee.
