This blotter is a collected from the daily crime reports posted online and crime news releases from the Dunwoody Police Department.
Car theft
• A 2008 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen last Saturday afternoon from the 100 block of Crown Pointe Parkway. The vehicle had more than $11,000 in items inside including a Pioneer navigation unit, a military medical bag, an Apple MacBook laptop, a Springfield handgun, a Nikon Camera, and a Tagheuer watch.
• A green 1999 Honda Civic was reported stolen the morning of Monday, April 11, from the 9000 block of Madison Drive.

• A white 2002 Chevy Tahoe was reported stolen last Thursday night from the 2300 block of Dunwoody Crossing.

Drug possession
• Police were called out to the 7000 block of Peachford Circle last Wednesday night. When they arrived, Police found two men who allegedly had a total of two ounces of marijuana on them. A 21-year-old Dunwoody man and a 20-year-old Sandy Springs man were arrested on felony drug possession charges.
Car Break-ins
• A Graco Titan paint sprayer worth $1,200 was reported stolen last Wednesday from a vehicle parked on the 6600 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
• A vehicle was reported broken into last Thursday morning on the 100 block of Dunwoody Park. A suitcase worth $200 and $3,850 in clothing were reported stolen
• A vehicle was reported broken into last Friday afternoon at the 200 block of Perimeter Center Parkway. An Acer laptop worth $1,000 was reported stolen.
Burglary
• A home at the 4600 block of Peachtree Place Parkway was reported broken into on the night of Monday, April 11. A 46-Inch Sharp flat panel television and a Magnavox DVD play, together worth $1,230 were reported stolen.
• About 5,000 feet of loop wire was reported stolen last Tuesday from the City of Dunwoody’s building on the 4700 block of North Peachtree Road. The wire’s estimated value is $1,200.
• A theft was reported last Tuesday night from a residence on the 5400 block of Tilly Mill Road. Three items of jewelry were reported stolen including a Jade bracelet worth $300, another piece of Jade jewelry with a Buddha on it worth $128 and a diamond ring worth $18,000.
• A 42-inch LG flat screen television, a leather jacket, Glock 23 pistol, a Smith & Wesson M&P pistol and a 12-guage Mossberg shotgun were reported stolen from a residence on the 1300 block of Lake Ridge Lane. The total value of all the items was estimated at $2,850.
• Two diamond cluster rings worth a total of $1,600 were reported stolen Saturday night from a residence on the 4500 block of Perimeter Lofts Circle.
Shoplifting
• A 24-year-old Atlanta man was arrested last Sunday, April 10, on shoplifting charges after allegedly trying to steal $220 worth of clothing from Bloomingdale’s at Perimeter Mall.
• A 32-year-old Atlanta man was arrested on shoplifting charges Monday, April 11, for allegedly trying to steal $254 in Boss, Luchiano and Guess clothing from Dillard’s at Perimeter Mall.
• A 26-year-old Atlanta woman was arrested last Thursday night for allegedly trying to steal $54 in clothing from Macy’s at the Perimeter Mall.
• Three 17-year-olds were arrested on shoplifting charges last Thursday for attempting to steal $50 in clothing from Old Navy, 1161 Hammond Dr.
• A 49-year-old Atlanta man was arrested last Thursday afternoon for attempting to steal $143 in clothing from Wal-Mart, 4725 Ashford Dunwoody Rd.
• A 17-year-old Atlanta male was arrested for shoplifting for allegedly trying to steal a pair of jeans worth $135 from Dillard’s at Perimeter Mall last Saturday evening.
• More than $200 in clothing was reported stolen from Bloomingdale’s at Perimeter Mall on Saturday afternoon.
• More than $400 in MEK jeans were reported stolen Saturday night from Dillard’s at the Perimeter Mall.
Criminal trespass
• Two men were arrested last Sunday, April 10, on charges of criminal trespass on the 4600 block of Peachtree Place Parkway.
• A 17-year-old Dunwoody man was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and driving while unlicensed on the 6700 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard on the afternoon of Monday, April 11.
Theft
• A theft of $260 in cash was reported at the Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road on the afternoon on Monday, April 11.
• Tax documents were reported stolen from a residence on the 1400 block of Devonash Road last Saturday evening.
Vandalism
• The walls of fitness center at the Broadstone Dunwoody, on the 2300 block of Dunwoody Crossing, were reported vandalized last Tuesday morning.
• A vehicle was reported vandalized last Tuesday afternoon at the 300 block of Perimeter Center North.
Fraud
• A theft by fraud was reported last Tuesday on the 4500 block of Village Springs Run. The victim reported being bilked out of almost $1,400.
