Dunwoody Police Arrest Man Wanted for Armed Robbery

Dennis Freeeman Roberson was picked up Saturday for suspicion of marijuana possession, but he also had other warrants for his arrest.

A weekend call that someone was dealing drugs at a Peachford Circle apartment complex led to an arrest of a Dunwoody man wanted on suspicion of armed robbery in Roswell.

Dennis Freeman Roberson was arrested at 2 p.m. Saturday after an officer came to the apartment building, spoke to three men and could smell marijuana.

When police ran identification of Roberson they found he was wanted for a felony warrant for armed robbery in Roswell and he was wanted for making terroristic threats, according to Dunwoody Police.

Roberson was also found with a misdemeanor amount of marijuana and charged with that offense by Dunwoody Police. He was booked into DeKalb County Jail.

Roberson also had four other warrants for traffic related offenses, according to police.
