Dunwoody PD Seeks Suspect in Burger King Armed Robbery

Police release video of the suspect jumping the counter

Dunwoody Police are seeking help in tracking down a suspect who robbed a Burger King on Chamblee Dunwoody Road with a handgun early Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened at the Burger King at 4537 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. around 6 a.m.

In a video the police released taken during the crime, the robber is seen crawling on the ground of the restaurant toward the counter, then jumping over the counter and running into the kitchen (the cameras does not show the kitchen).

In the video, he reappears from the kitchen area, jumping over the counter and running out of the restaurant.

Police say the robber escorted the manager around the store and obtained an undetermined amount of cash and fled the scene, running south towards 285.

Police describe him as a black male, 5' 5" to 5' 8" tall, weighing around 160 to 170 lbs. 

The robber wore a black ski mask and a black t-shirt that says "EAGLE" in large letters on the back. He wore dark colored cargo shorts and gray and black tennis shoes. 

His right ring and pinky fingers were wrapped with white tape. He held the gun in his right hand and wore a black glove on his left hand.
