Dunwoody PD Brings Back Car Show on Sept. 24

Event will raise money for the Special Olympics

The Dunwoody Police Explorers and Motorcars of Georgia are bringing back the Special Olympics Car Show.

For the second year in a row, the groups are putting on a car show to raise money for Special Olympics Georgia.

The show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24 at teh First Baptist Church of Atlanta.

The event will include a raffle, food from Village Burger and a silent auction that includes a chance to win a test drive of a Lamborghini.

Those who register prior to Sept. 9 will receive a t-shirt. Shirts will also be sold at the event.

Car show participants can win a People's Choice Award, based on attendee voting; The Chief's Pick, which is chosen by Dunwoody Police Chief Billy Grogan; and the Olympian's Award, which is chosen by Special Olympic athletes.
