Drug Bust on Hammond Drive

DeKalb County Police Department arrests two Thursday afternoon

DeKalb County Police arrested two men Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of the Perimeter Expo center parking lot, which houses Best Buy, Marshall's and several other stores.

Witnesses saw a black Hummer drive into the parking lot and drive around the lot for several minutes. Finally, the Hummer pulled up to a red truck, the men in the vehicles talked and as soon as the red truck began pulling away, squad cars swarmed in.

"They came in so fast they couldn't go anywhere," said a witness, who declined to give his name. "They blocked in the Hummer."
