Dangerous Car Chase Started in Dunwoody Wednesday

The car was suspected to be stolen led to the arrest of two suspects.

A high-speed chase that started in Dunwoody ended in a crash near Memorial Drive and Rays Road near Stone Mountain, according to WSBTV.com.

Two people were arrested in connection with the incident. The suspects are connected to what is believed to be a car theft, police say.

Dunwoody Police started the chase when they attempted to pull a car over because of license plate that came up stolen.

DeKalb Police apparently became involved as the car chase left Dunwoody.

Police said the suspects also crashed into a responding officer during the chase, and she suffered minor injuries, according to the report.

That incident caused a traffic bottleneck near I-285 and Memorial Drive during lunchtime rush-hour, according to the report.
