Cops Catch Guy Smoking Weed ... in the PD Parking Lot

From a Sunday evening posting on the Dunwoody Police Department Facebook page -

"During shift change this evening officers observed a vehicle suspiciously parked between two City of Dunwoody Public Works pickup trucks.

"When officers made contact with the occupant they discovered he was in the process of rolling a marijuana joint. Apparently the police department parking lot appeared to be the perfect place to engage is some illegal drug use.

"The subject will spend the rest of his holiday weekend in the Dekalb County Jail."

Officers responded to the Best Buy located on Hammond Dr in reference to suspect attempting to purchase two flat screen TV's and a laptop computer using a fake ID and checks. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with several counts of fraud and obstruction.

A 2000 silver Nissan Frontier (GA Tag PFH 3416) was reported stolen today from 123 Perimeter Center West. Incident occurred sometime between the hours of 5pm yesterday and 2 pm today. If you have any information regarding this incident please call Dunwoody Police at 678-382-6900.
