The incident occurred while the car was parked in the parking lot and was believed to have happened between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
It's not the first time in recent months that Dunwoody Police have responded to calls where similar thefts were attempted. Thieves look for abandoned and parked cars to cut out the catayltic converters which can be sold because the devices have valuable metals.
