Car Crimes: Dunwoody Police Looking for Stolen Van

Thieves have taken laptops and other valuables in recent car break-ins.

Dunwoody Police are looking for a white Ford Econoline van reported stolen, Monday, on Peachtree Place Parkway.

The vehicle has a Georgia tag no. PCX4074 and a Jim Ellis front tag.

Separately, there have been several car break-ins in recent weeks, according to the Dunwoody PD Facebook posts. Two were reported at Embassy Suites on Crowne Pointe Parkway. According to police, the suspect gained entryΒ by smashing out windows. Briefcases, laptops and other items were taken from the vehicles.

On Oct. 10, a car break-in was reported at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Perimeter Center Parkway. The suspect gained entry by breaking out the side window on the car and took an empty laptop bag from the vehicle that was left in plain sight.
