Update: Attempted Burglary Reported near Saffron Court
A vehicle backed up to a house near Saffron Court and a suspect was stopped from breaking into the residence.
A teenage girl helped stop a burglary at her Saffron Court home Thursday, according to police.
Police say that the burglary was stopped but some jewelry was missing from the home, located in a neighborhood near Tilly Mill and Mt. Vernon Road.
The teen was alerted to the suspects near the home when she heard someone knocking on the door and saw a vehicle backed into the driveway.

The suspect is thought to have fled the home before Dunwoody Police arrived. A neighbor reported seeing a white male with dark hair driving a grey, two-door vehicle leaving th home.
