Applebee’s Waitress Allegedly Steals $800 in Card Tips
The Dunwoody server allegedly altered customers credit and debit card receipts to increase her tip payment.
Dunwoody detectives arrested a 25-year-old woman, this week, for first degree forgery. The Applebee’s Restaurant server allegedly altered customers credit and debit card receipts to increase her tip payment without the knowledge or consent of the customers.
According to the Dunwoody PD Facebook page, the incidents, which totaled $800, occurred between July 2 and Sept. 22. Restaurant’s loss prevention and corporate management assisted with the investigation.
