911 Caller Says, 'Dunwoody Police Officers Will Die Today'

Dispatchers, police track down the caller, who said he was mad because he'd been unable to find work.

Dunwoody police officers were threatened over Memorial Day weekend by a man who said he made the threats because he'd been unable to find work.

According to the department's Facebook page, Chattcom 911 dispatchers received a call from the man who said, β€œDunwoody Police officers will die today,β€œ and then hung up.

The only information dispatchers had were an approximate latitude and longitude based on cell towers. Dunwoody officers began searching an area around Perimeter Center West and Perimeter Center Pkwy.
