Community Update

SaveDunwoody is one of several grassroots civic groups in our community. SaveDunwoody is a very diversified and non partisan issue oriented organization - it is not a political organization and is not involved in candidate forums. SaveDunwoody has grown to about 850 members in less than 12 months. There are only 2 or 3 members known to be officially in support of the Tea Party - the other members are Democrats, Republicans and Independents all working together in favor of practical common sense improvements that make Dunwoody better - not worse. We have found from our experience that when it comes to local government, national political party affiliation or preference is completely irrelevant. It has actually been very refreshing to see so many people of different ages, genders, backgrounds, religions and national political party preference or affiliation working together in agreement. The common denominator is the desire to maintain the unique character of our high quality residential community. We advocate following the example of the Spruill Farmhouse - keep what we have and make it better. We also favor high quality schools and education for our children - something everyone agrees with. We are proud of what we stand for and respect those who may not agree with us - after all this is America. These are the facts.
