Dunwoody Nature Center Fundraiser Called A Resounding Success

The 6th annual Monarchs & Margaritas was held at Glenridge Hall on Saturday night.


The r held its 6th annual fundraising event this past Saturday.

Executive Director Alan Mothner called the event the most successful to date.

"We couldn't have picked a better evening," he said. "On Wednesday of last week, I was a little nervous because the forecast was calling for a 70 percent of rain over the weekend, but the weather was perfect."

Mothner said the event, held at , brought out about 160 attendees, including most of the Dunwoody city council and the mayor. Dunwoody state Sen. Fran Milar conducted the evening's silent auction.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the center's programming, education, and outreach efforts throughout the year.
