David Boyd hired as Program Manager at Dunwoody Nature Center

Boyd, former owner of the Wild Bird Center, will lead daily programming and long term strategic development

 

The Dunwoody Nature center has hired former Wild Bird Center owner David Boyd as the center's new program manager.

Boyd owned the Wild Bird Center in the Williamsburg at Dunwoody shopping center and was a former board member of the Nature Center. Boyd has a masters degree in education and nearly a decade of teaching experience. In his new position, David will lead the Center’s daily programming operations and long term strategic development related to programming.

“What most excites me about having David on boardis his passion in the mission of the nature center,” said Nature Center Executive Director Alan Mothner, in a press release. “David completely understands the direction that the nature center is undertaking and brings with him the ability to further complement the work of the board in implementing its strategic plan.”

Su Ellis of the Board of Directors of the Nature Center added, “The Nature Center is most excited about David’s long history of involvement at DNC. He brings a much needed entrepreneurial spirit in the programming area and his commitment to environmental awareness and understanding was a key factor in his hiring.”
