Preschool Raises Nearly $7,500 for Charity

Primrose School of Dunwoody donated the funds

Students, staff and families from Primrose School of Dunwoody have raised $7,467 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation and the Atlanta Chapter of Reach Out and Read, a local branch of one of the Foundation’s national charitable partners, an announcement said.

More than 270 Primrose schools across the nation raise money each year for the Primrose Children’s Foundation, as well as hundreds of other local charities. Over the past seven years, the Primrose School of Dunwoody has been recognized as one of the top three contributors to The Primrose Children’s Foundation, and specifically to Reach Out and Read, the press release said.

Since the partnership with Reach Out and Read began eight years ago, the Primrose Children’s Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million to enable the organization’s partner pediatricians to improve literacy by distributing more than 250,000 new books for children who need it most.
