Community Yom HaShoah Commemoration

Yom HaShoah is also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day.

This commemoration, presented by The Atlanta Rabbinical Association and the MJCCA, will include the lighting of the torches and a special musical presentation featuring Cantor Daniel Gale from Temple Beth-El, Birmingham, Alabama. The ceremony will also feature remarks from Caroline Stoessinger, author of A Century of Wisdom: Lessons from the life of Alice Herz-Sommer, The World’s Oldest Living Holocaust Survivor. (Prior to the Yom HaShoah Commemoration, at 2:00 pm, all are invited to a special presentation by Carolyn Stoessinger in the Morris & Rae Frank Theatre.)

The program is free and open to the community and will take place rain or shine.
