The focus of our WEALTHY HABITS program is to educate middle and high school students on the importance of good financial planning and decision-making. Our program focuses on teaching 11-18 year olds about making, managing and multiplying money using a proven, innovative approach that has reshaped numerous young people’s attitudes about money.
Many times we, as adults, look back and say, “if I had only known then what I know now…” If we would have started saving 10% of our income with our first job and been taught how to use that money to make money, we could retire comfortably and not worry about the promise of social security.
The Department of the Treasury shows that teens that have taken a personal finance course have a higher savings rate, higher net worth and make larger contributions to their 401(k)’s. All it takes is a mere 10 hours of instruction to influence the financial decisions that today’s child will make as tomorrow’s adult.
Students leave our program with confidence and knowledge about the world of money and what it means to them. Call 678-218-1299 or visit www.rosenfoundation.org for more information.
