What's Your Favorite Destination in Atlanta?

Summer's coming and that means the living is supposed to be easy.

Whether it's catching up on some reading while working on your tan at the pool or barbecuing burgers with friends on those extended summer nights, summer is a time to kick back a little and relax.

Which brings us to vacation - or more directly - "staycation." A tough economy in the last several years has led people to give this a try for a summer break.

The idea? Stay at home, avoid your normal routine and work e-mails, and - basically - pretend you're a tourist.

The Atlanta metro area is not a bad place to do it, considering the number of attractions packed into the city.

So, we'd like to ask readers. What are your favorite destinations to schedule into a staycation? Maybe it's some shopping in-town at Perimeter Mall or maybe it's time to visit the High Museum of Art.
