Update: Dunwoody Parade Scheduled Rain or Shine

What to Do/What's Closed on July 4th in Dunwoody


The Fourth of July Parade is currently scheduled rain or shine, according to the Dunwoody Homeowners Association, co-host of the event. A press release said, Dunwoody Police will make the ultimate decision to cancel at 9 a.m., if it looks like an electrical storm is imminent.

In Dunwoody, city administrative offices close on July 4. Fire and other services essential for public safety and health will remain open. City offices will resume regular hours Friday, July 5.

Additionally, all banks will be closed on July 4 as well.

On the Fourth of July in Dunwoody, there is really only one thing there is to do and that's attend the annual Dunwoody 4th of July Parade!

Dunwoody's annual 4th of July Parade will feature marching bands, floats, clowns and local celebrities. "Founding Mothers" of the Dunwoody Nature Center will serve as Grand Marshals of this year's "Celebrate Our Beginnings" parade. Post-parade Festival in the parking lot of Dunwoody Village. BBQ, hot dogs, live entertainment and more!
