New Charges in Andrea Sneiderman Murder Case

A reworked indictment of the charges against Sneiderman was handed down on Tuesday afternoon.

A reworked series of indictments was issued on Tuesday afternoon in the murder trial of Andrea Sneiderman.

The new 16-count indictment drops language from the original document, according to the AJC, including allegations that Sneiderman and Hemy Neuman “conspired together to murder Rusty Sneiderman so that they could enjoy a life together, eliminate Neuman’s debt problems and fully benefit from the assets the Sneidermans had acquired as well as the proceeds of Rusty Sneiderman’s life insurance policies.”

The revised indictment also no longer contains omits any reference to financial motives, referring to the defendant as a “party to the crime.” Georgia law defines that in part as intentionally advising, encouraging, hiring, counseling or procuring another to commit a crime.

Sneiderman has denied any involvement in her husband’s death and says she was never romantically involved with Neuman, her former GE supervisor.

Dunwoody Patch offered extensive coverage of the Neuman trial.

Neuman was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in March for the fatal shooting of Rusty Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody daycare facility in November 2010.

In the revised series of indictments, Sneiderman faces seven counts of perjury, four counts of giving false statements and one count each of concealing material facts and hindering the apprehension of a criminal. One count of felony murder was added, along with a count of aggravated assault, while charges of attempted murder, insurance fraud and racketeering were dropped from the indictment handed down in August.

Five counts of perjury and two counts of false statements were added in the new indictment.

Sneiderman is due in DeKalb County Superior Court on Thursday for a hearing in which a trial date may be set.

All I want to know is when is Andrea going to to be sentenced for murder? What's taking them so long; this lady is guilty by her defensive demeanor on stand, lying statements, manipulation and her inappropriate relationship with her boss. What else do they need?

Well then. Let's just dispense with a trial altogether, shall we? No need for that pesky jury system or that outdated notion of "due process" for you! We'll hang her first and try her later. (For the thick ones: The foregoing is intended as irony solely for satirical purposes and is not intended as the opinion of the Patch, any rational human being who reads it, or of the author.

This is a sad case. Don't you just feel sorry for the children and the in-laws? And Andrea is thinking about a movie-- shouldn't she be focusing on beating this murder charge first?

I feel sorry for the children, they are innocent victims . Andrea Sniderman believes she committed the perfect crime by sexually manipulating Hemy Neumann, a fool that believed that the angel face of Andrea Sniderman ( a devil in disguise) was really in love with him.She destroyed her family and had planned to kill the father of her children with Hemy Neumann. nothing but a piece of garbage plans intentionally and knowledgebly for a long time and probably for years to destroy a human being,I hope she is found guilty and ruts in jail for the rest of her life.joe

Joseph, I agree with you 100%. Obviously she told Hemy, her lover, where her husband would be in order to carry out the murder...why don't these people just divorce...GREED..who is this new/real boyfriend? What is he thinking? That all of what she has done is ok as long as he can reap the benefits/$$$$$$
