Dunwoody Sunday Cycle Kicks Off On Sept. 2

This is the first in a planned series of community, family friendly bike rides.

The inaugural Dunwoody Sunday Cycle kicks off this Sunday, Sept. 2.

Families and cyclists are invited to meet outside Bruster's in Dunwoody Village at 2:30 pm; the ride begins at 3 pm. The course is 4.5 miles.

The groups will travel together for the entire route.  Riders 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult and participating cyclists must wear a helmet.

DPD has a picture of the participants on their Facebook page today. Very low turnout. From what you read, the Dunwoody bike people would have you think every other household has riders. Too much emphasis on bike lanes, not enough emphasis on crime and fixing our city council.

Rob, when does your campaign for council officially launch? Have not seen you at any council or committee meetings, either. You plan on hiding behind the keyboard and complaining the next few years or are you actually going to try and do something here?
