Dunwoody Detectives Following Leads in Apartment Shooting
Police are following leads in the Dec. 26 shooting of a man outside a Dunwoody apartment.
Detectives are following leads in the Dec. 26 shooting of a man outside a Dunwoody apartment.
Police have not yet released a motive, but it "appears to not be a random shooting," according to Dunwoody police spokesman Sgt. Michael Carlson.
The victim was 32-year-old Ivan Perez, shot at 3:43 p.m. as he was walking through the located at 100 Ashford Gables Drive. Perez was transported to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect is a black male who immediately fled the complex at the entrance on Ashford Dunwoody Road.
