Dunwoody Council Approves Zoning Changes for 8-Story Hotel Development

The city will soon have a new hotel-anchored development on Ashford-Dunwoody Road.

Dunwoody will be getting a new hotel-anchored development on Ashford-Dunwoody Road.

The Dunwoody City Council unanimously approved the zoning changes needed for the new development, which includes an eight-story Hampton Inn & Suites, after several months of consideration and more than 40 different site plans, according to an article in the Dunwoody Reporter.

The design of the 134-room hotel will be unlike other Hampton Inn hotels and will include stacked stone and a stucco finish, the article stated. Additionally, the development will include other buildings for restaurants and shops.
